4 Little Girls
An illustration of the 4 little girls that were bombed and killed in Birmingham, Alabama. While the Civil Rights movement had such a dark history of so many lynchings and bombings, this particular bombing really sparked the start of the movement. The purpose of this illustration was to bring some light to our history and show the girls in a light, peaceful place. Since the photos of the girls were in black and white, I had to be creative and research the attire that was worn in the 1960s. Scroll below to see the actual photos of the little girls. (I do not own copyright to the photography, it is specifically for references only.) Click on images to enlarge. Medium: Digital Illustration
